Editor's Journey
Hello! I'm Arianna, the project lead and chief editor of Kaie's.

Growing up by a lake in Singapore, I was surrounded by nature from a young age. My family taught me to respect the environment and understand the value of recycling, and these early lessons stayed with me, shaping my perspective on the world.
​
My understanding of sustainability deepened when I represented Japan in discussions on sustainable nuclear waste management. That experience opened my eyes to how crucial sustainability is for our future. Later, as an amateur model, I saw firsthand how wasteful the fashion industry can be, and it fueled my resolve to make a change. I started experimenting with sustainable fashion, restoring damaged clothing, and giving forgotten pieces a fresh purpose.

Experiences like COVID-19 and the Ukraine war highlighted for me how deeply intertwined well-being and sustainability are.
Through Kaie’s, I hope to contribute to a world where people and the planet can thrive together, creating something that’s beautiful, impactful, and deeply respectful of our natural world. I’m excited for you to be part of this journey with us
